Ukraine is becoming the most popular and reliable volunteer destination in Eastern Europe. According to the scale and quantity of the volunteer projects implemented in Ukraine, our country is among top volunteer destinations in the whole region.
The biggest volunteer hub currently operating on the territory of Ukraine is GoGlobal. It is a civic initiative powered by Global Office NGO aimed at fostering foreign languages learning, volunteering culture and promoting Ukraine in the whole world. This initiative is supported by Presidential Administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, UN Volunteers, Embassies.
The GoGlobal initiative offers two options for volunteering in Ukraine:
- GoCamp - a summer language camp with the involvement of foreign volunteer being held in schools all over Ukraine.
- GoCampAfterschool - an extracurricular program with involvement of foreign volunteer taking place all year round in schools all over Ukraine.
The GoCamp volunteers spend 2 weeks in a secondary school, teach English, French or German to school kids, live with a host family and get a chance to discover Ukraine. So far almost 500 volunteers, 611 schools, and almost 70 000 kids have already taken part in abovementioned programmes.
GoCamp 2018 will take place all over Ukraine, including small cities and villages. Volunteers will be placed in one of the numerous GoCamps in all regions of Ukraine. The volunteer's safety and security is a priority, so no volunteers are sent to the conflict area.

June 2 - June 20 (training for volunteers on June 2-5)
June 9 - June 27 (training for volunteers on June 9-12)
August 2 - August 17 (training for volunteers on August 2-5)
August 9 - August 23 (training for volunteers on August 9-12)
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age restriction.
Volunteers are required to have upper intermediate (or above) level or be a native-speaker of English, German or French*.
*the basic knowledge of English is required due to organizational and communication reasons.
