Shortly before the big event, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the US Valeriy Chaly and his staff invited Ukrainian champions and their team to visit the Embassy.

As a sign of the best wishes, the Ambassador presented to Ukrainian pro boxers and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum the National Flag of Ukraine that was flying over the top of the Embassy on the day of the visit. Each of them received souvenirs for luck from the Embassy (now Bob Arum who is himself the legend of pro boxing has a traditional Ukrainian symbol of power - the mace).
In return, the Embassy received boxing gloves signed by Vasyl Lomachenko, Oleksandr Usyk and Oleksandr Gvozdyk - people who proved to the whole world that the Ukrainians is unbeatable and undefeated nation.
