The state of trade and economic relations and investment between the United States and Ukraine

According to the U.S. International Trade Commission, the trade turnover between Ukraine and the U.S. in January-June 2016 decreased by 19,3% (or 176,2 million U.S. dollars) compared to the previous year and amounted to 738,2 million U.S. dollars.

Bilateral trade deficit was 205 million U.S. dollars.

There was a decrease in exports of Ukrainian goods to the U.S. by 42% (or 193 million U.S. dollars) and by the end of June 2016, and it amounted to 266,6  million U.S. dollars. At the same time, imports of the U.S. products in Ukraine has increased by 3,7% (or 16,8 million U.S. dollars) and totaled 471,6 million U.S. dollars by the end of June this year.
