Classical music concert held at the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S.

On April 4, 2013 the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S. hosted unforgettable concert organized by the Ukrainian Culture and Information Centre in cooperation with International Club of DC.
The talented Ukrainian-American musicians Oksada Skydan (piano) and Andriy Pidkivka (flute) along with Ukrainian violinist from Lviv Ivanna Husar performed music pieces by Ukrainian modern authors and world known composers.
During the event it was announced that Ukrainians all over the world commemorated the 95th anniversary of one of the greatest representatives of Ukrainian prose Oles Honchar. Everybody could get the brochure with information about creative inheritance and career of famous writer.
The concert was followed by a reception wherein the Embassy’s guests watched a film about Ukraine and enjoyed the exhibition of children’s paintings.
