The event was organized by a private equity firm «A7 GROUP», Center for US-Ukrainian Relations and New York State Bar Association. The partners of the Forum included the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.

On June 10, 2013 Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Motsyk welcomed the attendees of the event and delivered a speech on the trade, economic and investment potential of Ukraine and prospects for the development of Ukrainian-American relations. The agenda of the Forum included a discussion on investment opportunities in Ukraine, namely in the spheres of agriculture, energy and IT, peculiarities of legal regulation of investment activity in Ukraine and prospects for improving investment climate and business environment in our country. The event was also attended by Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Y.Serheyev, Consul General of Ukraine in New York I.Sybiha, Advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea O.Starodubov, President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council M.Williams and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine J.Zukoski, representatives of the U.S. Department of Treasury, the U.S. Department of Justice, etc. Total number of the Forum attendees exceeded 200 people.

The International forum has become an important platform for the exchange of ideas and experience between Ukrainian and American governments, businesses and NGOs. Leaders of successful Ukrainian and American companies, representing private investors, investment funds and commercial banks, including PwC, JP Morgan, SigmaBleyzer, Cub Energy, Morgan Stanley and others, shared their experience on working on the Ukrainian market and discussed the pace of implementation of the current and a possible launch of new investment projects in our country.

The Forum has become a first in a series of similar international events dedicated to investment opportunities in Ukraine. In the coming years, the organizers of the Forum are planning on holding such events in the UK, Germany, Poland, China, Bahrain and Russia.
