While in Washington DC, the delegation of Ukraine took part in the training activities organized by the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). During the course, the delegation reviewed the experience of the FDIC, particularly on information technology, public relations, human resources and financial resources.

Also, a meeting was held with the Program Manager of the project «First Initiative», administered by the World Bank, Mr. Jorge Patiño on the results of a current technical assistance project and directions for further technical assistance project funds to strengthen the financial sector in Ukraine.

On July 21, 2013nthe delegation visited the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States and discussed the prospects for further development of Ukraine-U.S. cooperation in the relevant fields, as well as a possibility of providing the assistance by the Embassy to the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the development of cooperation with the American side.
