On July 3, 2013 the Embassy of Ukraine hosted a meeting of Ambassador Olexander Motsyk with the participants of the Global Young Leaders Conference.
High school students from Australia, Barbados, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Greece, Denmark, Equador, India, Italy, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, Norway, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago UAE, United Kingdom and USA took part in the event. Ambassador Motsyk told them about Ukraine’s history, Ukraine-American relations, Embassy operations and the Embassy’s historic building. His welcoming remarks were followed by Q&A session.
The Global Young Leaders Conference has taken place annually for the last 25 years. High school students aged from 15 to 18 years representing over 100 countries visit the USA for 10 days to meet global leaders and develop their leadership skills.
