Mayor of Washington, D.C. Vincent C. Gray congratulates Ukrainians on their Independence Day

Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S. received a greeting from Mayor of Washington, D.C. Vincent C. Gray on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.
The greeting says “As we, the residents of Washington, D.C. take pride in our own country and customs, we also respect the traditions and ideals that Ukrainiansyou hold dear for your country”.
V.Gray also underlined that on the special day of Ukraine’s Independence the residents of Washington, D.C. “share in the Ukrainians’ hopes for a peaceful and prosperous future for Ukraine”.
