Yaroslav Brisiuсk, Chargé d'affaires of Ukraine in the U.S. highlighted the long history of Ukrainian statehood and the state symbols of independent Ukraine, emphasizing deep respect to the national symbols that is felt by each citizen.

Accompanied by the sounds of Ukraine’s National Anthem, the national flag was raised over the chancery of the Embassy.

The ceremony was also attended by U.S.-based Inter TV crew and journalist of the Ukrinform news agency.
