On December 17, 2013 Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk attended the U.S. – Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) traditional Annual Business Meeting.
Representatives of more than 30 member-companies, including such well-known companies as «John Deere», «Chevron», «PricewaterhouseCoopers», «AGCO» and «Case New Holland» took part in this event that was chaired by the President of the USUBC Morgan Williams. The attendees of the event also included officials from the State Department and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, representatives of a number of American NGOs and the Ukrainian Community.
During the meeting, that took place in the well-known Washington Club «The Metropolitan Club», O.Motsyk greeted the USUBC with successful completion of the current year and highlighted substantial accomplishments of the U.S.-Ukraine cooperation in agriculture, energy and IT sectors. The Ambassador also informed the participants about current political and economic developments in Ukraine.
During the meeting U.S. companies’ representatives discussed successful experience of doing business in Ukraine and elaborated on the perspectives of business development in our country.
The meeting was another important step on the way to further active development of Ukraine-U.S. cooperation in economic and investment spheres and proved significant interest of the American business towards the Ukrainian market, in particular its export and investment capabilities.
