On April 1, 2014, diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S. attended the memorial service dedicated to the fallen heroes of the Heaven's Hundred at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Silver Spring, MD. The service was held by Father Volodymyr Shtelyak.
The service was followed by a presentation of the organization «Razom for Ukraine». The audience was also addressed by National TV company of Ukraine anchor Yulia Marushevska, who became famous after her video address on EuroMaidan, that was posted on YouTube and received more than 8 million views. In the presentation Yulia Marushevska shared her experience of EuroMaidan and called on all people of goodwill to support the Ukrainians in their quest to live in a free democratic European country.
The event concluded with the Lemko song «Plyve kacha po Tysyni» that was played at the Maidan in Kyiv during the funeral ceremony for the fallen heroes of the Heaven's Hundred. The song was performed by Ukrainian a capella group «СПІВ-Життя/Living.in.SONG».
