Open Door Event at the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S.

Washington, DC, May 3, 2014. A traditional cultural event organized under the auspices of Passport DC program took place at the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA.
The Ukrainian Embassy was one of over fifty diplomatic missions in Washington, DC that opened their doors today to the residents and guests of the metropolitan area to showcase their authentic culture, history and food.
The event featured the exhibitions of pictures from the Euromaidan, Ukrainian traditional hand crafts presented by Myroslava Semerey, Ukrainian pysanka (Easter eggs) painting workshop by Halyna Mudra, and feature tasting of traditional Ukrainian food prepared by the Embassy’s Chef. Ukraine International Airlines presented the newly opened Kyiv-New York direct route.
Over a thousand guests visited the Ukrainian diplomatic mission during the event.
