During the conference they discussed key issues of the national and foreign policy of Ukraine, priorities of Ukraine-U.S. cooperation including political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian aspects, as well as consular protection of Ukrainian citizens in the United States.

Ambassador Motsyk noted effective work of the Honorary consulates in the mentioned spheres and called upon implementation of new projects.

Special attention was paid to the issues of Russian aggressive actions in Ukraine, problem areas of Ukraine-Russia relations, and U.S. support of our country.    

Counselor Yu.Tokar, Acting Head of the Economic Office I.Baranetskyi and Press Officer T.Shalkivska took part in the conference.

Currently, there are seven Honorary consulates of Ukraine in the U.S.
