On June 18, 2014, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with Ranking Member of the Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Congressman William Keating (MA, D).
During this meeting the Ambassador informed about recent developments in Ukraine, peace plan of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, emphasized the necessity of further support of the United States and the EU to counter Russia’s aggression and propaganda. The Ukrainian diplomat also informed about efforts of the Ukrainian Government in implementation of reforms, fighting corruption and ensuring energy security.
In his turn, Congressman Keating expressed support to Ukraine and noted that the future of our country should be defined exclusively by the Ukrainian people without any foreign pressure.
