On July 22, 2014, the Embassy of Ukraine in partnership with the leading Ukrainian IT company "Miratech” held an event, dedicated to the export and investment opportunities of the domestic IT services market.
The event was a logical continuation of the tradition initiated by the Embassy on the organization of the so-called "Ukrainian Days" promoting priority sectors of the domestic economy. The first “Ukrainian IT-day” was held by the Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S. in partnership with American company “TransparentBusiness” on April 29, 2014).
The main purpose of the event was to draw attention of American business to one of the most dynamic sectors of the domestic economy, to promote Ukrainian IT services to the U.S. market, and to assist in the implementation of a government initiative to transform our country into the global center for information technology.
Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk and Chief Executive Officer of the "Miratech" company Valery Kutsyy welcomed the audience. The event included the negotiations between the company "Miratech" and its American partners, a press conference and a meeting with representatives of the U.S. business community, U.S. government agencies, think tanks, non-governmental organizations and representatives of the Ukrainian Diaspora involved in the IT sector. The event was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic community, American and Ukrainian media.
"Miratech", a co-founder of the Association "IT Ukraine", also presented to its American partners, business representatives and non-governmental organizations in the U.S. high quality opportunities of Ukrainian IT market, including innovative technological solutions in the field of IT-outsourcing.
