On August 21, 2014, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC hosted a meeting with Ukrainian participants of the Open World Program, practicing psychologists and priests who have been working with the victims and participants of the Euromaidan and the Anti-Terrorist Operation.
Their trip was co-sponsored by Ukrainian Diaspora organizations and donors, including the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee. Following the DC tour, the delegates will visit the Yale University for a seminar in psychological treatment methods.
At the Embassy they were welcomed by Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk, and Larissa Lozynsky Kyj, President of the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee.
Ukrainian Ambassador told the guests about the operation of the Embassy and steps made by the U.S. government and Congress to support Ukraine in these difficult times.
