Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude to Joseph Biden for his constant attention to Ukraine and significant efforts of the U.S. Administration aimed at finding the ways of peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas.

The parties noted the importance of supporting further active political dialogue for prompt reaction to the events and prevention of new escalation of the situation.

The interlocutors negotiated the possibility of providing additional financial assistance by the USA to Ukraine and the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in defense and energy sphere on the eve of winter period.

Also, the parties announced the arrival of the U.S. Treasury Secretary to Ukraine to provide broader financial support.
