Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly and Military Attaché Colonel Serhii Dolenko met with a delegation of Ukrainian volunteers working with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

On July 23, 2015, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America Valeriy Chaly and Military Attaché Colonel Serhii Dolenko met with a delegation of Ukrainian volunteers working with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, visiting Washington D.C. to meet with their U.S. Army colleagues.
The discussed topics included development of Ukraine – US cooperation in the military sphere, in particular, prospects for the U.S. engagement in reforming the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Ambassador V.Chaly assured volunteers of the strong commitment of the Embassy of Ukraine to provide all necessary support and assistance to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to further strengthen close partner relationship with the U.S.
During the delegation’s visit to Washington, DC, its members also conducted a presentation for US journalists on the procurement system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
