During the official ceremony, Valeriy Chaly thanked Barack Obama for full-fledged support of Ukraine and wished the American people peace and prosperity. Ukraine's Ambassador confirmed invitation to the US President on behalf of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to visit Ukraine.

On his part, the American President said that today's relations between the US and Ukraine are stronger than ever and reassured that the United States remains committed to supporting Ukrainian people.
