Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly discussed with President of the Ukrainian World Congress Yevhen Choliy and Director of the Ukrainian National Information Service of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America Michael Sawkiw the plan of enhancing practical cooperation with the US Ukrainian community aimed at the protection of Ukraine’s national interests in the international arena.

It was agreed to plan and implement jointly a wide range of public events on countering Russian aggression in Donbas and occupation of Crimea, promotion of better understanding by the US community of the heroic history of Ukraine’s establishment as an independent state in the 20^th century (as a part of the information campaign dedicated to the 25^th Anniversary of Іndependence of Ukraine).
