The Embassy of Ukraine to the US hosted panel discussion New Challenges to the Security of Europe in the light of Russia’s Ongoing Aggression in Ukraine, featuring  Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly, Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Council, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia Dr. Evelyn Farkas and Chief of the Ukrainian Service of Voice of America Myroslava Gongadze.

Representatives of the U.S. State Department, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Congress, diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia and Moldova, senior officials of the American companies as well as members of the Washington DC & Baltimore Chapter of World Presidents’ Organization took part in the discussion.  

Addressing participants of the event, Valeriy Chaly elaborated on the events in Ukraine, its fight for freedom and territorial integrity. He emphasized on the importance of supporting our country and preserving the transatlantic unity for Ukraine. During the discussion its participants called for Russia’s implementation of the Minsk agreements, including release of illegally detained Nadia Savchenko, Oleg Sentsov and other hostages.

Documentary From Revolution of Dignity to a Country of Dignity was screened during the event along with the presentation of the bookletCountry of Dignity.
