The short film of this 15-year old girl "A Dad’s letter” http://bit.ly/2cOVQp6 was chosen from thousands of student nominations and was screened during “South by South Lawn: The White House Festival of Ideas, Art and Action”. 
Catherine’s mother proudly informed about her daughter’s passion in filmmaking, screenwriting, directoring, editoring, and producing as well as about her plans regarding the college and future career in film industry.
The Ambassador congratulated Catherine with the new achievements in filmmaking and informed about current situation in Ukraine. Valeriy Chaly wished Catherine every success in her further professional efforts, fulfillment of her highest expectations, as well as in particular to make the movie about Ukraine, and Ukraine-US friendly relations.
