Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly took part in the round-table arranged by the members of the House Armed Services Committee who are planning to visit this April Ukraine and a number of other European countries. Congressman Mike D. Rogers, Scott DesJarlais, Jim Banks and Liz Cheney, as well as Ambassador of Romania to the U.S. and representatives of Polish and Estonian Embassies participated in the event.
During the round-table Ambassador Chaly briefed the members of the Congressional delegation on the current situation in Ukraine and specifically focused on the latest developments in the ATO area and in the temporary occupied Crimean Autonomous Republic. He called upon the U.S. to strengthen its support to our nation, which is countering Russian aggression, and provide Ukraine with defensive lethal military equipment. He expressed his willingness to assist in arranging the visit of the Congressmen to Ukraine.
