The Washington State Senate (USA) adopted a resolution on the Day of Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933. “Holodomor was a genocide committed by Joseph Stalin and the Soviet regime against the people of Ukraine”, the resolution says. The decision was taken unanimously.

The main author of the resolution is Washington State Legislature Senator from the Republican Party Mark Miloscia.
