They laid the wreath from the Embassy of Ukraine to the Victims of Communism Memorial to pay tribute to the millions of Ukrainians shot without a fair trial, murdered by hunger in 1921-1923, 1932-1933 and 1946-1947, Crimean Tatars deported in 1944 and all other victims of communists’ repressions.
President of the Ukrainian World Congress Eugene Czolij, Chairman of US Committee for Ukrainian Holodomor-Genocide Awareness 1932-1933 Michael Sawkiw as well as President of the US-Ukraine Foundation Nadia McConnell also took part at the event as representatives of Ukrainian community.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly has held an informal meeting with leaders and senior board members of the American Jewish Committee (AJC),who are in Washington, DC to attend the AJC Global Forum - 2017 (June 4-6).

Ambassador Valeriy Chaly took part in the Annual Meeting of the Ukrainian National Credit Union Association.
