President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.

The parties discussed the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine and the future events to be conducted shortly.
The Head of State informed on the results of the consideration of the draft pension reform within the session of the National Council of Reforms.
The IMF Managing Director highlighted the importance of holding a balanced pension reform that will meet the interests of the state and the Ukrainian citizens and guarantee fair high standards of social security.
The parties also discussed the prospects of privatization in Ukraine, proper functioning of the banking system, reform of the public finance sector and continuation of struggle against corruption.
The Head of State thanked Christine Lagarde for her personal support for Ukraine.
