Ambassador Oksana Markarova and Defense Attaché Borys Kremenetsky met with Senator Mark Kelly and members of the Arizona Defense Industry Coalition who recently visited Ukraine. Some of the largest defense companies in the United States are part of the coalition, including Raytheon Missiles & Defense, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Northrop Grumman, and others.

The parties discussed Ukraine's urgent needs for weapons and ammunition, as well as ways to involve companies from Arizona in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The ambassador thanked Senator Kelly for consistent and reliable support of Ukraine in this fight against the aggressor, especially regarding the advocacy of sending F16s and cluster munitions to Ukraine.

Oksana Markarova called on all companies, including those in Arizona, to invest in Ukraine and our reconstruction.
