Ambassador Markarova has participated in the annual summary meeting of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), fostering collaboration with major American companies dedicated to working with Ukraine.

This year's focus "Building Ukraine's Private Industrial/Defense Complex" is one of the top priorities for the Embassy. American companies are committed to establishing or expanding production in Ukraine. Their dedication not only strengthens our defense capabilities but also propels  economic growth.

Throughout the year, USUBC member companies closely collaborated with the Embassy, engaging with key stakeholders, including the President of

Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry for Strategic Industries, to initiate production processes within Ukraine.

More weapons and jobs in Ukraine are crucial for accelerating our victory. Building on the positive results from the President of Ukraine's recent visits to Washington, next year's endeavors in this area will intensify, bringing about concrete results.
