President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of the United States Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York.

The Head of State thanked President Trump for his personal efforts aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine briefed his counterpart on the battlefield situation and the results of the counteroffensive in the Dobropillia and Pokrovsk areas, during which Ukrainian warriors advanced 360 kilometers and captured over a thousand Russian occupiers.

The leaders discussed several promising ideas to advance peace. Ukraine expects them to yield prompt results.

The Presidents focused on implementing the PURL initiative, which is already working effectively, as well as on potential projects within the framework of this initiative.
