Together with the Ukrainian community in Washington, the delegation of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, led by Ambassador Oksana Markarova, took part in the National Independence Day Parade.
This year's Ukrainian column consisted of a platform designed by Larysa Kurylas, decorated with traditional Ukrainian flowers and a symbolic sculpture in the form of two yellow and blue hands supporting peace on the planet.
One of the highlights of the parade was the performance of the band Probass & Hardi, who performed the hit songs "Good evening (Where are you from?)" and "Chervona Kalyna". We are grateful to all the participants of the parade for the wonderful representation of Ukraine and to the Americans for the warm reception of the Ukrainian participants.
