On September 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate, led by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, to discuss the key points of Ukraine’s Victory Plan.
He also met with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. House of Representatives, including Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Chairman of the Armed Services Committee Mike Rogers, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Michael McCaul, Co-Chair Adam Smith, Chairman of the Intelligence Committee Mike Turner, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, and Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.
During the meetings, President Zelenskyy emphasized that the strength of freedom relies on the bipartisan support and determination of the United States. He provided a detailed overview of the current situation on the battlefield and shared the key aspects of the Victory Plan with both delegations.
The President expressed deep gratitude to members of both the Senate and the House, the U.S. Administration, and the American people for their unwavering military, economic, energy, and humanitarian support for Ukraine.
