Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to discuss the ongoing development of strategic economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.

The U.S.–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund has begun its operations — an important milestone in expanding strategic economic cooperation between our countries. A few procedural decisions remain for its full-scale launch, but the first pipeline of priority projects is already forming. We are focusing on critical minerals, energy, and infrastructure, as Ukraine continues to demonstrate that it is a reliable partner for ambitious U.S.–Ukrainian investment.

The meeting also focused on strengthening Europe’s energy security and tightening sanctions to deprive Russia of resources that sustain its war.
