The partnership between Ukraine and the U.S. Department of Justice, led by Attorney General Merrick Garland, is strategic. Together, Ukraine and the United States are expanding cooperation to investigate Russian war crimes, including act of aggression, genocide, ecocide, crimes against humanity and cultural heritage sites.
Strengthening Ukraine's law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies, as well as enhancing collaboration in combatting transnational organized crime and drug trafficking, were also key topics of discussion.
