The second year in the row members of the Ukrainian community, Embassy of Ukraine and just ordinary American citizens gathered in front of the russian embassy to plant the sunflowers.

The action is aimed to remind that the russian  war against Ukraine continues but Ukrainians remain strong and resilient.

A year ago a group Ukrainian supporters planted sunflowers in the public spaces outside the russian embassy in the U.S. to demonstrate their protest against unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine.

As the flowers grew taller, someone ripped them from the ground. Activists returned and planted more, and more and more. So at the very end some of them grew into beautiful strong plants.

This year a huge crowd of supporters came to this symbol action again to demonstrate that  the Ukrainian nation is invincible and the support of Ukraine in the USA remains strong.
