To commemorate the two years’ mark since russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine, Ukrainians gathered yesterday at a mass rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC.
In a heartening display of solidarity, not only did our American friends and partners stand shoulder to shoulder with representatives of our Ukrainian community from various states, but members of other supportive communities also joined the Embassy of Ukraine.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who
came to stand with us, demonstrating unequivocally that Ukrainians are not alone; together, we are resolute and unwavering in our pursuit of victory— light triumphing over darkness, good prevailing over evil, and freedom and democracy prevailing over obscurantism and tyranny.
A heartfelt appreciation goes to the rally organizers: Maryna Baydyuk, United Help Ukraine, Dora Chomiak, Razom for Ukraine, Nadiya Shaporynska, US Ukrainian Activists, Aleksandr Krapivkin, KLYCH/Клич, Marianna Falkova, Ukraine House, Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Ukrainian American Veterans, vocal ensembles VODA and U Generation; and countless others!
