On April 20, 2023, the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Yulia Laputinathe attanded a charitable event “Heroes Support Heroes” held by the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA the Український ветеранський фонд (Ukrainian Veteran Foundation) with the Ministry of Veteran Affairs of Ukraine Мінветеранів and the Ukraine House with a support of People of Ukraine and U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
Minister thanked all Americans for
standing with Ukraine and supporting its fight for freedom.
Minister Laputina presented special awards to the leaders of the Ukrainian-American nonprofit organizations for their tireless efforts in providing humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian veterans. T
The event was held in the format of a charitable evening. Director of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation Natalia Kalmykova presented projects supporting Ukrainian veterans.
A special part of the event will be a musical performance by a Ukrainian violinist, singer, and active service military Moisei Bondarenko .
All charitable donations will go towards the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation program aimed at supporting the children of Ukrainian veterans and the families of fallen defenders.
