At the beginning of the event Natalia Terletska, the spouse of Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S., welcomed the audience. Her welcoming remarks were followed by a presentation about Ukraine as a young, modern, democratic, European country, its culture and traditions, including a number of interesting facts from the history of our state and its present.

After the presentation the guests watched the film “12 minutes with Ukraine” and enjoyed musical performance by Ukrainian duet “Gerdan”. The event was concluded with a reception and all the Embassy guests were presented with Ukrainian souvenirs.
