A meeting with students of the National War College at the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S.

On February 28, 2013 Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk and Defense Attaché Vice Admiral Ihor Knyaz met with students of the National War College at the U.S. National Defense University.
In May this year these students will travel to Ukraine to see the country, to meet with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense officials, General Staff and Ukraine’s Armed Forces Navy Staff representatives.
During the meeting the students were informed of major aspects of national and foreign policy of Ukraine including recent measures with respect to the country’s European integration, pace of systemic reforms, current status and prospects for Ukraine-US relationships.
The students also learned about reforming of the Ukraine’s Armed Forces, participation of our country in peacekeeping operations and international military exercises.
