April 17, 2012 – Embassy of Ukraine hosted a lecture “Nazi-Looted Art from Kyiv Museums in East Prussia” by Dr. Patricia Kennedy Grimsted. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Culture and Information Centre in cooperation with the Shevchenko Scientific Society, Washington DC Chapter.

Dr. Grimsted’s presentation is the part of a long-term project “Cultural Heritage in Ukraine and World War II: The Continuing Saga of Plunder, Losses, Trophies, and Restitution”.

After the lecture the guests of the Embassy were invited to watch the documentary about Ukraine and enjoy the rare collection of beautiful paintings, sculptures and other artistic pieces.
