On April 9, 2013, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Oliinyk, Head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Ukraine - U.S. Bilateral Defense Consultations.

During the meeting they discussed the results of the Ukraine – U.S. Bilateral Defense Consultations held in Pentagon on April 9, 2013.

While discussing measures to deepen Ukraine – U.S. strategic partnership O.Motsyk and O.Oliinyk underlined the importance of further development of the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of defense including in reforming Ukraine’s Armed Forces according to The Concept of Reforming and Development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine up to 2017, as well as in the sphere of international security.
