On May 7, 2013, during his working visit to the U.S., Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara had a meeting with representatives of U.S. Jewish community.
The venue of the meeting was the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York.
During the meeting, the development of Ukrainian-American relations was discussed along with the situation related to cultural and humanitarian needs of Ukraine’s Jewish community and protection of Jewish heritage located in our state.
Leonid Kozhara stressed the important contribution of U.S. Jewish community to the development of strategic partnership between our states, and called upon the representatives of American Jewry to continue their support of Ukraine’s European integration course.
