The sides discussed the current state and prospects for the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States in various areas, including in non-proliferation, disarmament, peace-keeping, international security, energy and agriculture.

Ambassador Motsyk also informed Senator Risch of internal reforms in our country and Ukraine’s foreign policy priorities. In this regard, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of signing of the Association and Free Trade Zone Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union this November.
