Ensemble Gerdan Performs at the Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S.

On October 24, 2013, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America hosted the Gerdan ensemble concert, organized in the framework of the Embassy Series.
Ukrainian musicians Andriy Pidkivka (flute) and Solomia Gorokhivska (violin), who comprise Gerdan, performed music pieces of world classic as well as lovely Ukrainian folk compositions, such as Vivcharyk, Cheremshyna, Shumila Lishchyna, and the Kozak Song.
Following the concert guests of the diplomatic mission watched a video about Ukraine and enjoyed Ukrainian traditional cuisine.
