On October 30, 2013, Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Olexander Motsyk along with Ambassador of Lithuania Žygimantas Pavilionis and Ambassador of Moldova Igor Munteanu visited the world-famous Yale University at New Haven, Connecticut, which hosted a panel discussion on EU Eastern Partnership and European policies towards Ukraine and Moldova.
In the presence of audience of foreign policy experts, professors and students, Ambassadors spoke about topical issues of dialogue of Ukraine and Moldova with the European Union on the eve of Vilnius Summit, as well as about the prospects of signing European Association and Free Trade Agreements between these countries and the EU.
Ambassador Pavilionis informed about priorities of Lithuanian EU Presidency and stressed the unwavering support of European Association and continued European integration of Kyiv and Chisinau.
The Ambassadors’ speeches were followed by Q&A session.
During his visit to Yale, Ambassador Motsyk had a meeting with Sir Peter Crane, Dean of School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, with whom he discussed the development of cooperation between Yale and the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
