On April 23, 2014, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky, while on a working visit to Washington, DC, met with representatives of Ukrainian American community.
During a “round table” discussion hosted by the Embassy of Ukraine the participants exchanged their views on internal, economic and security situation in our country, preparation for Presidential elections in Ukraine, counteraction Russian aggression and its information war waged against Ukraine.
Deputy Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian Americans for their support and promotion of Ukrainian interests in the U.S. at this difficult for our country time. "Ukraine is associated for us not only with its people living in the country, but also with Ukrainians all over the world. Those countries where the voice of Ukrainians sounds particularly strong, have the most favorable position to Ukraine", said Mr.Lubkivsky.
The program of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine in Washington DC includes a number of official meetings with representatives of the U.S. Government and U.S. Administration as well as think tanks and American Jewish organizations.
