Mr.Lubkivsky informed of the efforts of Government of Ukraine aimed at stabilization of the economy of our country and de-escalation of situation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine. He also expressed appreciation for the support of the United States in countering Russian aggression and its encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The U.S. side expressed concern about recent steps of the Russian Federation, in particular its interference in the internal affairs of our country, support for illegal armed groups and concentration of troops on the border with Ukraine. It stressed that such actions constitute direct violation of the Geneva agreements and emphasized that all parties who have undertaken relevant obligations have to follow them.
