President held a conversation with Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden

In the course of the phone consultations with the US Vice President, the President of Ukraine informed that following the recent negotiations with leaders of more than 10 countries, he had received assurances of complete understanding and support of his steps.
“A new army and a new country is being born. Ukraine is fighting for democracy, solidarity and freedom. That’s why the support of our reliable friends is a true value for our country today,” Petro Poroshenko claimed.
Joseph Biden assured Petro Poroshenko that American people support Ukraine. The USA is willing to further support territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. “We will also act persistently to form the position of solidarity with the EU,” the US Vice President noted.
