“We’re working now in extremely high pace around the clock on the case of Malaysian Arlines Boeing 777 shot down in Donetsk region”, said Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin at a briefing at the Government House on Thursday, 17 July.

The Minister expressed the deepest condolences to relatives and friend of everyone, who was on board of this plane. “It’s, indeed, an extremely tragic event, we’re all experiencing now. It’s the third case in recent days after two Ukrainian planes – Antonov-26 and SU-25 shot down from the Russian territory”, emphasized Pavlo Klimkin.

He reminded that Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk ordered to create a special governmental commission to investigate the circumstances of this tragic case.

He also emphasized that experts involved in the investigation of this case are working around the clock. Moreover, according to the Foreign Minister, the MFA will work closely with the Emergency Ministry.

“In parallels, we’ve created in the MFA a special line for anyone who would like to get more information on that,” he added.
