On August 18, 2014, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with Executive Director of the Institute for Women, Peace and Security, former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s issues Melanne Verveer.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Ukraine with regard to the Russia’s aggression, as well as a number of issues on further development of the Ukrainian-American cooperation, including providing Ukraine with assistance by the United States at these difficult for Ukraine times.
