On November 6, 2014, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with attendees of the annual National Conference “America & the World” of the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA). More than 500 000 WACA members and participants take part in over 1 200 local Council events each year from Alaska to Puerto-Rico & from Maine to Hawaii.     

The main purpose of the conference is to engage WACA’s leaders with foreign policy experts in order to help them plan and develop public programs for their local communities in 2015.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. O.Motsyk briefed the participants of the conference on the situation in Ukraine, euro-integration efforts of our country as well as measures taken by the Government to counter Russian aggression.
